What is Ultimate Reality?

The Constant Creator
There is only one substance and it is on a never ending reformation called evolution. Evolution is simply the multiplication of variables (all given factors that take us from point A (present) to point B (immediate future)). This would make evolution the constant creator. I do not believe there is a beginning to the universe, although there is definitely a beginning to ultimate reality. The very second life with conscious thought existed became the very second meaning in this world made it's place. Equipped with thoughts and choices, this allowed for individuality to experience what is ultimate reality. Individuality allows for individual realities for each life form capable of reasoning. What is real is the ability to question what is real, to question one's reason for living, to question anything and not just accept things for as they are. Interaction between life forms is a key factor in the creation of conscious thought. With conscious thought came all that is real to us today; emotions, desires, and the ability to learn. Substance has always existed. It would not have been until humans invented the idea of time that we would become capable of questioning when it had been created. What is real is constantly evolving just like everything else in this world. The idea of God has been created by humans with the intentions of keeping well-being in the future of mankind. This is why I believe God to be what is good in all of us, our conscious. If god is our conscious, then god is part of everything that is real to us. The way the world really is, simply, is the way each individual perceives it to be at their present time. This is why there will never be one true answer to these questions in metaphysics. There are infinite variables due to individuality that will never allow just one over-all shared answer. If there is only one correct answer, then we would not all be individuals. We would not have an ultimate reality.

What is Philosophy

WHAT IS PHILOSOPHY?

On this board so often I have seen topics take horrible turns such as “What is your favourite way to kill yourself” and such that I simply do not think have anything to do with philosophy. Equally debated has been, “what is philosophy” this topic will attempt to uncover what that is.

Philosophy is not a person’s opinion. Going back to Aristotle and Plato both were willing to admit this much. Plato and Aristotle both differentiated between “doxa” and “episteme.” Doxa are those things that are opinionated such as qualitative items like beauty. Episteme fall into an exact category of “knowledge.” Episteme means that there is only one right answer for each problem.
